Corporate Social Responsibility

UAS believes in giving back to the community; both the aviation and local community. We believe in implementing and supporting programs that contribute to those involved in our industry in meaningful ways.

UAS Scholarships & Internship Programs

We believe spending time and energy enriching the lives of the next generation of aviation professionals is one of the best ways to ensure a bright and positive future for the industry. Our internship programs allow high school and college students the opportunity to work in the service provider environment and obtain real-world experience in dispatch, flight operations, and customer service. The program also includes enrollment in IATA’s Station Ground Handling Management course. At the conclusion of the course, students will receive an IATA certification. To date, scholarship and internship recipients have included students from the Civil Aviation University of China and the Ethiopian Aviation Academy.
UAS is also the key sponsor for a number of different scholarship programs, including the annual International Operators Conference scholarship, presented in coordination with NBAA and the IOC committee. Each year, one or two applicants who wish to pursue further educational or career development in the business aviation community are presented with funds and support to make that a reality.

Community Support

In addition to the various professional advancement programs we support, UAS also tries to give back to the local community by sponsoring local youth sports teams and other extracurricular activities. Our work encompasses volunteer work to improve our local neighborhoods and environment. UAS is constantly looking for ways to positively impact our communities – the ones we work in as well as the ones we live in.

Make-A-Wish Foundation

UAS proudly supports the Make-A-Wish Foundation® charity. Since its humble beginnings, the organization has blossomed into a worldwide phenomenon, reaching more than 144,000 children around the world.
