BRICS Summit to close Rio Airport from July 6-7

BRICS Summit to close Santo Dumont Airport from July 6-7: Rio de Janeiro will host the BRICS Summit on Sunday, July 6 and Monday, July 7. The 17th annual meeting will see leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and other member states descend on the city. Santos Dumont Airport (SBRJ), the main airport for domestic flights in Rio, will be closed to all flights during the event.

The Paris Air Show 2025

Showcasing the strategic and economic importance of the country and wider region for business aviation, the Paris Air Show gets underway today and runs until June 22.   Officially named the Salon International de l’Aéronautique et de l’Espace, the airshow is held every two years at Le Bourget Airport (LFPB) and attracts over 300,000 visitors over seven days.   It will see thousands of OEMs, FBOs, MROs, industry associations and operators exhibit, make connections, and create partnerships, as well as feature developments in SAF, electric and hybrid aircraft systems, and AI.   Operators should be aware that restrictions apply for the duration of the show.
