Flight Operations to the Paris Games – Operators planning trips to France for the summer games are urged to begin planning now as major demand and congestion is expected at Paris airports.
Peak congestion is predicted between July 11 and after August 11 during the Olympics, and from August 26 until September 8 during the Paralympics.
Paris will also be a no-fly zone on July 26 for the opening ceremony.
The closest airport to central Paris is Le Bourget. This airport has no commercial flights and is used purely for general aviation.
