Marrakesh Menara becomes a slot coordinated airport – Due to increased traffic and congestion, Marrakesh Menara Airport (GMMX) is following Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (GMMN) and Rabat–Salé Airport (GMME) to become a slot coordinated airport.
From November 2024, all operators must send a SCR message to the Moroccan slots coordination department to request a slot.
This procedure applies to incoming flights for the Winter 24/25 season ending on March 30 and the Summer 25 season running from March 31 to October 26.
General aviation and military flights are exempt.
