This year, UAS International Trip Support contributed a $5,000 donation to the NBAA IOC Scholarship, participated in the “Trip Wrap Up & Ask the Expert ITP” session, and led the “Regional Update: North Atlantic and North America” session.
The NBAA IOC scholarships supports the professional development of the recipient in the area of business aviation with related international operations. UAS Executive Vice-President Jay Husary commended the recipients on a job well done. “This scholarship is important to aviation as a whole,” Husary explains. “It increases the safety and training of industry professionals, and we are proud to donate to this fund year after year.” This year’s scholarship recipients were Katie Heckman, Cade Schalla, Jonathan Gonzales, and Chase Peters.
UAS Regional Director, Americas, Ryan Frankhouser, contributed to the “Trip Wrap Up & Ask the Expert ITP” session with advice on cabotage and moderated the “Regional Update: North Atlantic and North America” session. “We had industry experts on this panel that brought a gravitas to the topic,” Frankhouser said. “David Stohr, Terry Cecil, and John Esping have valuable insights on the happenings in North America and the North Atlantic that needed to be shared with our community. It’s our job to make sure that happens,” he added.
