Guatemala will require ADS-B from Dec 31, and El Salvador from Jan 1.

ADS-B mandates are regulations that require certain aircraft to be equipped with ADS-B Out systems to fly in specified airspaces.

These mandates aim to improve air traffic management, enhance safety, and ensure more accurate tracking of aircraft, especially in areas with limited radar coverage.

Compliance with these mandates is crucial for operators to continue flying in these regions and airspaces.

These are the only countries in the MHCC/Central American FIR (Cenamer airspace) to introduce this requirement; neither Belize, Costa Rica, Honduras, or Nicaragua have published any ADS-B mandates yet.
