Bahrain has reinstated a red-listed country entry ban following recommendations made by the National Taskforce for Combatting the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Passengers traveling from red-listed countries and passengers who have transited through them are prohibited from entering Bahrain unless they are a citizen or a resident.

The red-listed countries are as follows:

  • 南非
  • 纳米比亚
  • 博茨瓦纳
  • 津巴布韦
  • 莱索托
  • Eswatini
  • 马拉维
  • 莫桑比克
  • 安哥拉
  • 赞比亚

Vaccinated passengers

Entry procedures for vaccinated passengers, passengers who have recovered from COVID-19 from GCC countries, and passengers from countries whose vaccination certificates are as follows:

  • Must take a PCR test upon arrival
  • Must take another PCR test on the fifth day
  • Must take a final PCR test on the tenth day in Bahrain
  • They do not need to present a negative PCR test before boarding the plane and do not need to quarantine on arrival

Unvaccinated passengers

  • Must present an approved PCR certificate with a QR code before boarding the plane, administered within 72 hours of departure
  • Must take a PCR test upon arrival and quarantine for ten days at their residence (anyone over 12 years of age)
  • On the fifth day, they must conduct a PCR test
  • They must conduct another PCR test on the tenth day

To be considered fully vaccinated, passengers must have completed at least 14 days after the second dose in a two-dose vaccination series (Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca) or completed 14 days after administration of a single dose for single-dose vaccination series (Johnson & Johnson).

Countries that Bahrain has signed a mutual vaccination recognition agreement:

  • 塞浦路斯
  • 希腊
  • 匈牙利
  • 塞舌尔
  • 约旦
  • 以色列

The arrival, day 5, and day 10 post-arrival PCR tests are subject to a BHD 36 fee (approximately $96), to be paid prior to arrival through the official BeAware Bahrain App, through the Bahrain eGovernment Portal, or upon arrival at a designated airport kiosk, where card and cash payments are accepted.

All arrivals to Bahrain must activate the ‘BeAware Bahrain‘ application and sign an agreement to self-isolate, which requires them to quarantine at their place of residence until their test results are available.

Citizens must also sign a declaration form prior to departure, agreeing to bear any medical costs while abroad, as well as mandatory COVID-19 testing once they arrive in Bahrain.

Non-vaccinated crew members are not subject to quarantine.
