Operational advice
- All flights (including scheduled, non-scheduled, Business or General Aviation) operating to one of the affected airports during the Euro 2016 championship will require an airport slot.
- All slots must be requested in a turnaround format, so it is always mandatory to include full details of the outbound schedule.
- It is possible to mark slot requests which are specific to the Euro 2016 to have slot priority, however, those requests will be cross-checked with the UEFA organization committee and fines will be imposed on fraud attempts.
- Slot coordination will compare flight plans with the allocated slots and flights without matching slots may be suspended prior to operation.
- Unused slots must to be cancelled and any violations or misuse of slots by not cancelling on time will be reported to the DGAC and may incur heavy fines.
