Hong Kong GA APIS Compliance Deadline is September 1  – The Hong Kong Immigration Department officially implemented APIS transmissions for operators of private and charter flights arriving in Hong Kong on April 29, 2025.

Full compliance becomes legally enforceable from September 1, 2025, with penalties applicable for non-compliance.

APIS submission is mandatory for all flights, and operators must transmit the following for each passenger, crew member, and transit traveller, prior to departure:

·                     Full name, gender, date of birth, nationality

·                     Passport number, issuing country, and expiration date

·                     Aircraft registration, flight details, and route information

All individuals entering Hong Kong must have valid travel document and a visa or entry permit to visit the HKSAR.
