We are seeking an experienced Fuel Vendor Relations Executive to manage and optimize relationships with fuel vendors, oversee the procurement process, and maintain a comprehensive database of fuel prices. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in aviation fuel procurement, exceptional negotiation skills, and a keen eye for market trends to ensure cost-effectiveness and reliability in fuel supply for our operations.

Vendor Relationship Management

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with fuel vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with fuel suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor vendor performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with vendors to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.

Price Analysis and Forecasting

• Analyze fuel price trends, market fluctuations, and historical data to forecast future pricing, enabling proactive strategies to mitigate cost variations.

Fuel Procurement

• Develop and implement strategies for efficient and cost-effective fuel procurement.
• Conduct market analysis and stay updated on fuel pricing, trends, and supply chain dynamics.
• Coordinate the procurement process, including RFQs, RFPs, and vendor selection.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and make recommendations based on cost, quality, and reliability factors.

Database Management

• Establish and maintain a centralized database of aviation fuel prices, supplier information, and market trends.
• Regularly update and analyze fuel price data to support decision-making processes.
• Generate reports and provide insights on fuel price trends, market fluctuations, and potential cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of the fuel price database for internal reference and analysis.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to fuel procurement and vendor relationships.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with fuel supply, pricing fluctuations, and vendor contracts.
• Implement strategies to manage fuel-related risks and maintain uninterrupted supply chain operations.

Collaboration and Communication

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Finance, and Management teams, to align fuel procurement strategies with business objectives.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations and resolve issues promptly.

Skills and Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Aviation Management, or a related field. Advanced degree or industry certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aviation fuel procurement, vendor management, or related roles within the aviation industry.
• Proficient in cultivating strong vendor and internal stakeholder relationships alongside a demonstrated history of adept negotiation skills, notably evidenced by a track record of successful contract agreements with fuel vendors.
• In-depth knowledge of fuel markets, pricing mechanisms, and supply chain dynamics in the aviation sector.
• Proficiency in database management, data analysis, and reporting tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis and database management, utilizing specialized aviation fuel management software.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and risk management in aviation fuel procurement.
